Corporate Timeline

1975
  • Founded upon the separation of the Logistics Department, for motor truck distribution, packaging and storage, from Fuji Electric Group.
  • Inherited license for General Cargo Overland and Distribution Services (now approved for general cargo overland distribution services) from Fuji Electric Construction Co., Ltd. (now Fuji Furukawa Engineering & Construction Co.Ltd.) for Tokyo, Kanagawa and Mie.
  • Warehousing business in Fukiage Warehouse (Saitama) was approved.
  • Registered as motor carrier (now approved and registered as a cargo overland distribution company).
1980
  • Commenced export logistics operations for electrical plants.
1983
  • Commenced 24-hour logistics operations for computer maintenance parts.
1985
  • Moved head office to 3-9-11, Mita, Minato-Ku, Tokyo.
1987
  • Opened Hong Kong Residential Office (now Fuji Logistics (H.K.) Co., Ltd., established in November 1996).
1992
  • Opened Netherlands Branch (now Fuji Logistics Europe B.V., established in December 1994).
  • Listed on the second section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
1993
  • Merged with Hakko Unyu Shokai (Fuji Logistics international Co., Ltd., merged in October 2004).
1994
  • Opened Dalian Residential Office in China (now Fuji Logistics (Dalian F.T.Z.) Co., Ltd., established in November 1997).
1997
  • Opened Shanghai Office in China (now Fuji Logistics (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., established in November 1998).
  • Established Fuji Logistics Malaysia Sdn. Bhd.
  • Established Fuji Logistics Operations Co., Ltd.
2000
  • Merged with Tokyo Juki Transport Co., Ltd.
2001
  • Established Fuji Logistics Support Co,. Ltd.. by consolidating four companies including Fuji Logistics Mie Support Co., Ltd.
  • Acquired ISO 14001 certification for offices nationwide.
2003
  • Acquired ISO 9001 certification for Matsumoto Branch.
2004
  • Concluded joint business and capital relationship with Fuji Electric Holdings Co., Ltd. and Toyota Industries Corporation.
  • Relocated head office to 3-10-1, Mita, Minato-Ku, Tokyo.
2005
  • Acquired ISO 9001 certification for offices nationwide.
  • Merged with SII Logistics Inc.
  • Established Fuji Logistics (China) Co., Ltd. in Shanghai.
2010
  • Became a subsidiary of Mitsubishi Logistics Corporation.
  • Delisted from the second section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
2012
  • Acquired ISO 27001 certification for Tokyo Branch and Keihin Branch.
2014
  • Established Fuji Logistics(Malaysia)Sdn. Bhd. Johor Branch.
2015
  • Acquired ISO 27001 certification for Head Office and Kyushu Branch.
